Monday, March 23rd I have assigned Lesson 23 Han China on teachtci.com. Some of you have started it, some have not. I encourage you to check it out and try using the online notebook. It will give you something to do and keep your "history brain" in shape! I will be adding more TCI lessons for you to read and think about, so please take a little time each weekday to learn some new history.
Students, please complete all of the assignments given on Friday, March 13th. Check back here for updates during our time away from the school building.
Monday, March 16th--I had a request for an online copy of the Rome quiz study guide. So here it is:
I will assign the Ancient Rome quiz tomorrow on teachtci.com. Please take the quiz after completing both Rome notebook packets and the study guide. You don't have to take the quiz tomorrow if you're not ready, but it should be taken soon. Don't forget to complete the China Geography Challenge, vocabulary chart, and reading guide worksheet this week. Happy studies!! Thursday, March 19th--Well, things keep changing! I have been spending time on Schoology and teachtci.com, since it looks like those will be the two main sites for Ancient History. If you haven't checked out Schoology yet, information will be coming out from the district to help you log on. UCS is requiring all teachers to use Schoology, and for good reason. It will become the base site for all of your classes. As I get more familiar with its features, you should have a more user-friendly set of learning activities. So check out Schoology if you can tomorrow, and stay safe!
